Fair standard
Staff attitude towards guests was superb
Very expensive with poor quality services. No breakfast on the huge amounts paid while other hotels like value hotel Thomson are cheap & clean. Dirty & Badly kept / maintained rooms.

What was the highlight of Metropolitan YMCA Singapore
A great option for the budget conscious. Accommodation is expensive in Singapore, but this was a good place for a reason
Location was great because of close proximity to public transport. Bus stop just outside the property and MRT only 5-10 mins walk
The carpet needs to be ripped up. There’s a constant damp smell which could easily be fixed by getting rid of the carpet. There’s no place it in the tropics

It was an alright stay, but the ants, noise & location were rather unpleasant for the price
Big swimming pool
Ants crawling up every corner whenever there’s even a trace of food/snack; Far from any centre of attraction for travellers; Noisy surroundings as the walls are so thin & some people playing music

Clean corridor carpets and a bit better breakfast will have made our experience much more pleasant
The breakfast wasn’t very good. Congee was cold etc The location was very good as close to MRT STN
The corridor carpet to the rooms looked filthy and the phone in room was out of order
